There is no significant mediastinal shift at this time.\r\n\r\nProbable pneumomediastinum and cervical subcutaneous emphysema, also likely present retrospectively on prior days examination.\r\n\r\nMild central peribronchial thickening without focal consolidation or pleural effusion.\r\n\r\nEndotracheal tube is relatively shallow, terminating at the thoracic inlet.\r\n\r\nCase discussed with Dr. Tisha Spence of the PICU team at approximately 0945 hours on 5/4/2022.\r\n\r\nIndication:\r\nETT placement\r\n\r\nComparison Study Date:\r\nPrior day\r\n\r\nTechnique:\r\nSingle view of the chest.\r\n\r\nFindings:\r\nFeeding tube and endotracheal tube are unchanged in position. Endotracheal tube is relatively shallow, at the thoracic inlet.\r\nFeeding tube is incompletely visualized, but passes into the left upper quadrant and presumed within the stomach. It has been advanced slightly based on the side hole, which is now clearly below the diaphragm.\r\n\r\nThe mediastinal silhouette is somewhat narrow.
